How long
do lash extensions last?
Properly applied extensions should last as long as your natural
lash life cycle, anywhere from 3-8 weeks depending on the individual.
Of course rubbing or pulling will make them shed quicker. Aftercare
is the key to longevity. An infill every 2-3 weeks is recommended.
Does it
hurt?
No. You gently close your eyes and the most you will feel is a tickle
as the lashes are applied. The service is very relaxing and many
clients take the opportunity for a power nap.
What method
is used for application?
The only truly safe and effective method of application is for the
client to be lying flat with their eyes closed.
Why is this the only internationally
recognised method?
Because it is risk free and avoids damage to natural lashes. Your
eyes protected from adhesive fumes and each extension can be individually
grafted to a single lash. The adhesive never comes in contact with
your skin and more importantly, your eye.
It is also the only method that allows you to freely run a plain
mascara wand through your lashes, no clumps. The difference is in
the results!
Do Eyelash Extensions
cause damage to natural lashes?
Professionally selected and applied extensions ensure that your
natural lashes are nurtured. The optimal application method is also
vital for avoiding stress to your lashes.
How long does it take?
A full set takes 1-2 hours including consultation time. Infills
are usually 30-60 minutes.
I have
long lashes already, why choose extensions?
Extensions offer more than just length. If you are going on a beach
holiday for example, you won't want to use mascara to define your
lashes. Extensions add volume and thickness. Extensions also keep
your lashes beautifully curled.
Can I still use mascara?
Yes. Mascara that has been specially formulated for use with eyelash
extensions can be purchased in salon at a very reasonable price.
How do I care for my new
lashes?
Your technician will go over the details and you will receive a
set of aftercare instructions.

- If applying mascara do so from middle to tip, avoid root area
- Use water based eye makeup remover

- Do not pull on your lashes (this may cause your natural lashes
to come out prematurely)
